The Women’s Chorus of Dallas’ 26th season is all about celebration, starting with the groovy ’70s all the way to the U.S. premiere of contemporary Dutch composer Johan de Meij’s Symphony No. 3: Planet Earth, which the chorus will perform with the Metropolitan Winds.
There will be four concerts this season featuring composers such as Sarah Quartel, Jocelyn Hagen and Joan Szymko. The chorus will also celebrate Women’s History Month in March in a joint concert with the Texas Woman’s University and University of North Texas women’s choruses.
The Women’s Chorus will also continue its outreach programs, raising money for breast cancer research, AIDS awareness, domestic violence shelters and other causes.
